This three years programme offers a foundation in nutrition science, and explores how it relates to health for different individuals within the varying contexts of human development. Our students explore case studies at various renowned hospitals like Doon Hospital, Bombay Hospital Indore and Sushila Tiwari Govt Hospital, Nainital under registered dieticians and learn how to interpret and apply nutritional research, and gain the skills to make more informed nutritional assessments and dietary analyses. This three-year degree course sharpens the students in the following:

• Understand classes of nutrients, including the role of micronutrients and macronutrients in the body
• Understand the basics of Bio-chemistry and behavioural psychology
• Identify the foundational science underlying edibles
• Relate diet to health and disease outcomes
• Develop a comprehensive nutrition plan for individuals

Students celebrate National nutrition month with Nutri-talks by renowned clinical nutritionist and diabetes educators who share invaluable insights on dietary choices, managing diabetes, and cultivating a healthy lifestyle.

Department of Nutrition and Healthcare Science at Manas College encourage students to participate as volunteers in various health camps in and around the city. The students not only assist the patients in their enrolment and registration process, but also work alongside the team of doctors during medical examinations such as Blood Pressure monitoring, ECG, Blood Glucose monitoring, and more.
